AZ Sint-Maarten localises medical assets by using passive RFID: a full picture

In order to optimise search times, AZ Sint-Maarten decided to trace their more than 15,000 medical materials and furniture with the ATLAS RFID solution.  

The RFID kit mounted on the logistics trolleys and the location tags in the door leaves enable to track the material via the daily routes the trolleys pass by. The POLARIS Asset Management software manages and exports all captured data to the ERP package Ultimo, in which materials and their history can be tracked quickly and easily.  

The efficient localisation allows AZ Sint-Maarten to use its medical materials at locations where they are most useful and allows staff to focus more on care tasks.
